Split core current transformers

Split core instrument transformers have a divisible core, which allows them to be installed on existing electrical equipment without dismantling the primary circuits, and in some cases - without disconnecting it. Such functionality of current transformers is indispensable for the modernization of existing power grids in order to equip them with metering and power monitoring systems.
