Austrian designer and manufacturer of voltage and current sensors for control and protection of power distribution grids. Company website: www.greenwood-power.at
The sensors are designed to measure current and voltage in distribution networks, usually at the medium and high voltage levels, in order to obtain a signal for protection systems, emergency diagnostics, and the calculation of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of electricity. Sensors, also called low-power measuring transformers, generate an AC voltage signal in accordance with IEC 61869-10 and IEC 61869-11. Greenwood power sensors differ from traditional current and voltage transformers in small dimensions, weight and cost. Various designs of sensors are available for installation in switchgears with air (AIS) and gas (GIS) insulation of most well-known manufacturers. Moreover, they can be used both during new power grid installation and retrofit of existing one
